I just dont think a plausible JB guilt scenario can be fitted around the Aga evidence at all, Rob!
Well not without the police moving Nevill anyway!
The likes of Cutie says that until the likes of the silencer evidence is demolished we are wasting our time, but the thing is Cutie thinks the silencer evidence was fabricated anyway! and it probably was, even the documentaries suggest that JB was stitched up in order to gain a conviction!
In my opinion it is something like the Aga burns or the Milbank phone call that are needed in order to free JB, some sort of proof that sweeps the likes of the blood in the silencer evidence away, Rob!

Cc is looking it from the CCRC point of view Snow, I am looking at it from it's part of the story of what happened that night.

If there was ever a retrial the Aga would be a big part of what happened but first it needs to be proven it was the Aga that caused the marks/burns. I expect the CT has done more testing than we know about?

To me if it's proven the Aga did cause the marks it strongly points to Sheila so I am with you.

Maybe the 3 hours gave his bullet wounds to mouth sufficient time to heal so he could speak to Jeremy in the phone without any noticeable speech impairment

How does Snow explain the phone call being cut off in mid flow if  Sheila was upstairs. Seems a real weakness in his theory
Nevill wasn't shot in the face when he phoned JB, Jonathan!
Nevill initially found Sheila in the kitchen who smashed his face with the rifle butt causing a broken nose , two black eyes and a fractured skull, this is when the stock was broken obviously with the piece of wood ending up in front of the Aga where Nevill fell down.
Once Nevill regained consciousness he was obviously very unsteady on his feet and shaken up, he dragged himself onto a chair and decided to phone JB while he composed himself, only saying a few words 'please come over, your sister has gone crazy and has the gun', meaning that Sheila had gone crazy and bashed him with the rifle, after all, what more could he tell JB at that stage? He had no idea what Sheila had done while he was knocked out beside the Aga!
So I think Nevill ended the call himself as he was anxious to get upstairs! Maybe his hand was shaking and he partly placed the phone back on the cradle ending the call, but missed and ended up leaving the phone off the hook. After all he had a severe injury at that time, Jonathan, something that Vanezis may be able to verify hopefully!

The CT should say to the CCRC,  'look, if you're saying that the police didn't move Nevill explain then when the Aga burns took place that night'  Leave the CCRC to explain when Nevill was lying against the Aga, Rob!

Wow Nevill was taken by surprise.

Bet he was relieved he could phone Jeremy when he regained conciousness.

Of course he was taken by surprise, Adam, Sheila had never attacked him before, well not that we know of anyway.

All the defence and prosecution can do with Sheila is start at the beginning of the crime scene evidence -

Sheila shoots Nevill and June 9 times in/by there bed.

Nevill runs downstairs to phone Jeremy.

Sheila attacks Nevill in the kitchen after he is able to say a few words to Jeremy.

----------

Any suggestions of interactions before the 9 shots cannot be submitted at trial or to the CCRC. It is guesswork without evidence.

”OH NO SHE DIDN’T”. “OH YES SHE DID”. Is this the final episode Snow, or are we getting a Christmas Day Special?  Must say, it had us in stitches last night,  dramatic knock-out, miraculous recovery, convenient phone fumbling,   all that was missing “SHE’s BEHIND YOU”.

If his hand was shaking while talking to Jeremy it's really unlucky the receiver fell onto the cradle cutting him off mid stream. Also strange that he didn't redial when he obviously didn't think it important to hurry upstairs

If Sheila surprised him in the kitchen I wonder what Snow's theory is for why Nevill rose from his bed to go downstairs in his pyjamas

Didn't Adam already say she read June's bible for 3 hours?

Maybe we're not being entirely fair to Snow, Jonathan? He's addressing every point we bombard him with individually, as a result, the result is gobbledygook, ie, put together, it makes no sense at all..............'course, it didn't, from the time he hit us with it!

I think we need to be mindful of the fact we are dealing with either 5 murders or 4 murders and a suicide.
Patrick O'Connor, Barrister, Doughty Street Chambers: "It will have to be a slam dunk.  It will have to be something of a blockbuster piece of evidence to have a chance".
