Everyone lied except for the late Milbank ???
« on: November 14, 2025, 02:04:PM »
It's funny how everyone is accused of lying, but not the late Milbank.

It is assumed, had he lived longer and/or been approached by an "independent" investigator, he would have told the truth, rather than lying as Essex police forced dozens of people to do in the run up to the trial and afterwards.

This is despite him knowing the truth about the 999 call for 40 years and not mentioning it to anyone, except for Heidi Blake.

In a similar vein, I have heard it claimed (although not officially) that Taff Jones would have testified in favour of Jeremy, had he not died in an accident, earlier in 1986.

The late Taff Jones never lied either, he was a favourite of Bambers supporters.

Taff had been on board that Bamber was guilty for several months. He was no longer heading the case.

Not sure how he could benefit either side at trial. All he could say is he believed Bamber's narrative on the night & over the next few days. Although had no good evidence as to why. And he didn't want to listen to other possibilities.

Taff could have helped the prosecution.

Giving his reasons why it was treated as murder/suicide on the night & in the media. But confirm that some officers & the relatives were suspicious.

Then give the huge list of reasons why there was an about turn of arrest & charge. And say he agreed with it!
