I thought that was Red side facing the main bedroom?  Green was the opposite to red which was the coal shed area?  White was the kitchen and black was the Scullery area?

Dermot took up a position Green /white side which was in the cattle shed.

In the context of the White House Farm (WHF) tragedy, the term “green side” typically refers to the side of the house facing the garden or fields, as opposed to the “white side,” which faced the driveway and was visible to police during the siege.

📍 Green Side Location:

It was the rear or garden-facing side of the farmhouse.

This side was not visible to police during their initial approach and loudhailer challenges.

It’s often discussed in relation to Sheila Caffell’s bedroom window, which faced the green side and was where police later gained entry.

1 Maybe he had no choice but to leave it in the Kitchen and was quite happy to have the Fawn coloured older phone by his bed?

2. Nope,  the challenges were made from White side about 30m away from the Kitchen, this continued for two hours.  The only sound they heard was the barking dog, maybe the dog came down to the kitchen because of the challenges and that’s why the operator could hear the challenges and the barking dog?  PC Dermot  who was on Green side could hear the challenges being made from the other side of the house which was White side.

3. JB did not leave at 9.30 pm like you claim, he returned to the house on foot after doing some work in the fields he got there about 9.45 pm, then he sat with his father to chat about Work for 5 mins.

4. Again, Jean would not lie about this, there was no need to lie, she would not have made this up.  she didn’t believe Jeremy or Sheila could do such a thing and kill their mum and Dad and the twins, she recollects that Bamber said to her it was a spare, and then he told her later that the Kitchen phone had broken and then the bedroom phone was brought down to replace it.  Which could be true, it had a habit of sticking when the numbers were pressed in.  But later it was tested and it worked fine.

Then why was it not in the master bedroom on the day. He would not have access to a phone unless and until IF he heard it and went down to the kitchen

Where is that from Bubo?  If you go into case related photos and scroll down, it shows Red facing the main front building, white facing the kitchen and Black facing the scullery and green at the opposite end to Red facing the coal shed, which coincides with what Dermot said.  I can’t download it myself?

Please remind us why June phoned 999.  Do you think Sheila killed everyone and left or just wounded June,  and then decided to shoot her later?  Or is it still your belief that the TFG shot June?

I do not know precisely how the event unfolded and neither do the police. There may well have been phases rather than a continuous onslaught. June could have armed herself at some stage to prevent a further attack and it is possible that she had received some wounds. She could have moved around the house keeping herself away from SC. She could have locked herself in a room until she heard SC shoot herself. There are many possibilities. If the TFG had been told that there was at least one person still alive and where confronted by a blood stained woman maybe holding a weapon a reflex action of self presevation may have caused them to shoot her. A perfectly warranted action.

An AI search.

Or she could have been shot by the killer and where she was found.

I have checked it out. It is as you say. But it looks as if the locations were added at a later date. The green by the coal shed is a pointless position to use for monitoring and the locations are in a different font and in bold lettering.

This from a poster who does not know the difference between Trump's sons and senior members of the US administration and who claims SBJ entered the premises and put some of his blood on a SM. Pot and kettle come to mind. You really are a catty individual who seeks to undermine other posters using rude comments.

The JB section of the red forum (that she is supposed to be moderating) has sprung back to life. Maybe she will go back?

I never thought much of Maggies moderating. But in hindsight we are in her debt as she kept her away from this forum for six years. Creeping back with a mask on a few months after she was no longer with us.

Maggie was a good moderator.  She did her best and was a huge help.  I really valued her input.

I don't like to see any loss of any regular forum member. It hits me a bit personally. Think I am a bit insecure like that. Even bans sometimes. But obviously the loss of a member due to ill health or other form of passing on is far worse. I am a bit soft about the forum and would not want any regular to leave.

In fact I am so soft about the forum that I would gladly see many old posters return. Some of whom posted during period when I didn't post myself.

Movement in house + voices   0736

i.e. of the TFG who had just entered the rear hall and kitchen.
I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and furballs.
