The fact the CCRC have failed many appellants does not mean JB is one of them.
You haven't even got off the starting block let alone caught up!
Clearly he is, otherwise you wouldn't be fighting his case.
But JB case aside..
any innocent person that is turned down by the CCRC, prevented from accessing evidence by the CPS, police or courts, is a failure for the justice system,
regardless of developments in DNA testing.
You seem to think it makes more sense to spend millions on incarcerating someone, until DNA eventually proves them innocent.
Whereas people with common sense want the innocence found earlier - by proper investigation, the use of powers, and a very searching attitude towards the prosecution agencies involved in the conviction. We don't want someone aged 99 getting acquitted through DNA after spending 50 years in prison.
