Is this Bamber's current lawyer?

If he can't perform a miracle, no one can.

It doesn't matter whether you have a three headed alien, Clarence Darrow, or a bloke from the pub representing you. If he substance isn't there your going nowhere fast.
If yesterday you hated me. Then today you can not stop the love that binds from me to you. And you to me

I believe it is, they have an office at Doncaster and one at Kiveton and one at Wakefield.  I think Mike is at Doncaster?  I’ve seen the Office at Kiveton they go under the name Jordan’s Solicitors.

Agree there has been no substance to any of the CCRC/COA applications since 1986.

But claims such as Sheila dialling 999 will keep him in the media.

Well not strictly true, the case was referred in 2001.

So the CCRC did see some type of potential. Although of course ultimately the end goal failed.

Wonder if Phillip & Yvonne will continue. Or follow Trudie out of the CT.

I have seen some senior members of the CT express their disgust over the decision.

It may not be such a case of them carrying on. Jeremy may get rid.

Who knows.

I have curried a view that he may one day put it to bed as he ages in the CAT A environment but at the same time still maintain innocence.

If relationships sour with the CT. Who knows what may happen?

I understand the CT not publishing the PSOR.

There may be a lot of new information we don't know about which badly undermines him. It is a rejection.

The published COA summary has done him more harm than good over the years.

Maybe he will call it a day.

You might say that was the "exception which proves the rule"!

Jeremy had been pushing for a Court of Appeal referral for years and only got one based on the DNA evidence. Although his referral was on this sole ground, his lawyers submitted 16 grounds and were criticised for doing so by the Court of Appeal. Two years later he has submitted ground after ground and never any substance.

That is more or less how its supposed to work.

14(4A) to the Criminal Appeal Act 1995. Under section 14(5) of the 1995 Act, an appellant whose case is referred to the Court of Appeal by the Criminal Cases Review Commission may introduce an unlimited number of additional grounds of appeal, including grounds which bear no relation to the Commission's reasons for referring the case.
