The forum has been running very slow in the last few weeks. And I often get the following error message

"The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later."

We are actively looking into this and hope that the problems will be resolved over the weekend.

We are now on SMF version 2.0.19 and a more up to date PHP version. Lets see how it goes.

Yes. There should be a lot less traffic from bots also.

I have just discovered that the forum is being visited by Apple and Microsoft AI service bots late at night and early in the morning to train AI models. I am in the process of blocking these.
