Why no Julie 10pm call mention in JBs first WS?

Woad on her 16/09/85 WS gave the exact time of 2AM. So her clock must have been an hour slow. 

Which to me means she according to her looked at a clock and saw 2AM.

Then she changes that to between " 2AM and 2.59AM", You either see a time or you don't.

Battersby says it was 3.15, in Julie's 8.9.85 WS Julie says  " Susan told me for sure the time was " 3.12AM exact" This is when they are at Pizza Hut.

So both Battersby and Woad are adamant of an exact time in the first instance but then change it later. For what reason?
