Very risky, with so many at Bourtree Cottage, including police.
But where were they disposed of?

I know, but they have to be stored somewhere in the meantime.
People say your own blood being at a crime scene is the most damning evidence. Your own blood being on your own clothes is not damning. Nevill's blood being on Bamber's clothes would be decent evidence. Suspect most of Nevill's bleeding was in the hours after the massacre. The kitchen attack resulted more in bruises and lacerations. The rifle was long so there would be no blood spatter onto Bamber when he shot him.But still a chance drops of Nevill's blood fell onto Bamber's clothes.
The long gap between ringing Julie & the police, suggests he had decided to wash his clothes at Goldhanger. He knew he couldn't leave to meet the police until the wash had finished & he had hung the clothes up. So he had time to ring Julie.
Bamber would have had the same approach to his clothes as to the silencer. Both put away where they should be. Not part of the crime scene. The difference was he washed his clothes, but not the silencer.
If there is only minor spilling of blood on the garment he chose to wear he can wash it off with a wet cloth. If he had worn farm overalls, which would probably be battered and covered in grease blood wouldn't even be noticeable if spilled on to the garment. Especially if a very small amount.
