Who Removed The Cash (and credit cards?) From NB's Wallet?
« on: October 06, 2024, 10:31:AM »
JB re-entered WHF for the first time, post murders, on 12th August.  Family members were present.  According to AE, during this visit JB sought out his father's wallet and noticed that the cash (£400 - £500) was missing along with the credit cards.

If this is correct it sounds like a despicable act.

Someone must have emptied NB's wallet?

Of course.  But it makes little sense he would call the police/DS Jones and alert him to the fact the money was missing.  You might have thought this would be used at trial against JB but afaik it wasn't.

What's even more despicable, is that he knew what was in it anti was the FIRST thing he looked for when reentering the property!

If I remember correctly, didn't AE say she went through the wallet and "almost felt guilty"?

She helped herself to June's Jewellery so it wouldn't suprise me if she took the money.

Why was RB and AE even going through Nevills pockets even at the behest of Cock?

Surely Jeremy should have been doing that anyway. As the deceaseds son.

Initially Bamber said he did not want to visit WHF.

But its clear when RB/AE went to NB's wallet it was empty.

It's also clear that when he did return with boyfriend Brett he ferreted through all the hidey-holes where his father had secreted wads of cash, and plundered valuables such as the Meissen clock hidden in a suitcase under his parents' bed.
I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and furballs.

He had death duties to pay!

Not before he'd gone on an expensive expedition collecting birds in the South of France!

And parties to go to! I doubt he was thinking about death duties in the interim between the massacre and arrest, nor do I think there'd have been many pennies left from the things he'd sold.

On the contrary it's beeootifull, but I'd be worried about it being burgled by some feral oik.
