If yesterday you hated me. Then today you can not stop the love that binds from me to you. And you to me

He never regarded them as his family. It's all smoke and mirrors with Jeremy, truth intermingled with half-truths and downright lies. It's why the truth in this case is so difficult to discern.

There is a Times article as well Steve but it's behind a paywall.

They have to sensationalize, find a new angle, to pique the reader's interest.

Probably did have a nice childhood when with parents and Shelia.

His childhood  antecdotes he routinely recalls are probably true.

I might agree with that, but remember he was packed off to boarding school at eight years old. He himself told Roger Wilkes the problems with June started around 1978, but it's one sentence in a book and there is no further elaboration.

In terms time or whatever.

At what age was shelia sent to board? Her being a few years Jeremy's senior.

I'm not sure anyone is sensationalising, as the TNT article was well balanced.

She was nearly ten. A mystery why she was sent to Moira House mid-term. She was unhappy there, and didn't leave until December 1970, whereupon she was enrolled at Old Hall School, Hethersett, Norfolk.

It was guilty of omission, picking out points they considered salient.

How tragically ironic is the article below, with the sentence: "There is a defence for every offence."

Thanks ngb. Sounds like CCRC are dismissive. I think it's being approached wrong way.  The big story is that a police officer has disowned a statement attributed to him, that arose from an enquiry in to the case by the MET.
