"It seems out of place"? Exactly what can possibly be out of place about a duvet/comforter being on the floor? It got there in one of two ways. Either it fell off or June pulled it off. I fail to see the significance of either, but by all means, keep going with it. You're winding Snow up to paroxysms of excitement which might be hard to contain!
