What? Why would they be saying that? The quilt (not heated) and the heated blanket are two separate things. The heated blanket is still on the bed, the quilt must have been on the top of the bed. It could simply have been removed because June was too warm. It's not a case of 'being fair', it's a case of common sense'.
I'm not even sure the item on the floor is a quilt Zoso, since when did quilts have bows and frills?

Bamber may have removed it prior to his first 5 shots into June.

Or June may have removed it prior to moving to the other side of the bedroom and back.

Bews says "We then moved to the adjoining field to our right" which I would call the front of the house but we all know what he means. Prior to that he is describing what I would call the side of the house where the police broke in.

Read his COLP statement, he doesn't mention the front of the house - in fact nowhere does he refer to the 'front' of the house. We don't KNOW what he means - the fact that some things have been unclear, have led to many assumptions that have turned out to be incorrect and allowed Bamber to claim all kinds of crap. Lights going on and off and curtains being opened and closed - for instance!

I have read Bews statement a 100 times, he is talking about the side of the house where the police broke in. They then moved to their right etc. which is what I would call the front of the house.

What bows and frills?  Time to book your next eye test.
I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and furballs.

Look closer Curiosity, pink bows next to the bed and pink/red frills at the opposide end away from the bed!
Maybe it was a heated shawl that fell off when June got out of bed! But again it should have bullet holes in it and should have stopped the blood getting to the under sheet!
Its another one of those things that dont make much sense in a straight forward JB guilt scenario!
Something else that looks as if it was carefully placed there neatly wrapped up!

Because you're assuming that's what he means although, he hasn't said that. According to his COLP, he didn't get further than the wall. the front of the house is beyond the wall.

Hopefully I am not assuming anything other than what Bews calls the rear is to me the side.

It's a quilt and there are no bows or fills, unless of course June borrowed a frock from Jane Austin!

And also called the front garden 'a field'?

Strange I guess, but we know which side of the house they originally arrived at because of the colour of the curtains, they then moved to their right etc. which to me is the front but Bews calls it the side?

I see Curiosity!
Now I may be wrong here, but isn't that another quilt that is on the bed?
So are we saying there were TWO quilts on top of Nev/June that night? Again remarkable, that truly is a first for me!
Two quilts in summer!!!
Dont think I've ever witnessed that in winter even!
5 Tog Summer,  15 Tog Winter!

WE are Not saying any such thing. This leaves two conclusions. Either you definitely are wrong, or you definitely are taking the p, ooops! 'avin a larf!!!

The quilt on the floor does look out of place Jane, it is puffed up and has not been walked over to my eyes anyway?

June must have passed right over it when she got out of bed?

Explain what is the correct way for a quilt on the floor to look. June could have been clinging to it whilst steadying herself as she got out of bed and pulled it off once she was past the bed.
