But you are right Bubo, what on earth was a quilt doing there for June to trip up on?
Surely she didn't place it there herself before going to bed? So who did and why?
You have spotted another strange out of place item Bubo, just like the pile of cushions beside the Aga!
What on Earth is a bed quilt doing in the Bedroom,  surely she should have moved it before she got shot

Is it a heated quilt Jane? Doe's it go on top of you or under?
A quilt as well as covers in the summer?
Mmmm!

We leave the electric under blanket on all year round. On the bed doesn't mean switched on. A heated quilt, ie, a quilt capable of being heated, can be left on the bed as a throw, without being switched on.

As was the case with the Bambers, it appears.

I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and furballs.

So are we talking about a heated under blanket, or a heated over quilt? I can't imagine that both are heated/capable of being so.

Just the former, as can be verified by its control switch and electric cable leading up into the bed, the blanket being underneath the bloodstained bedding material. The floral duvet/quilt on the floor is obviously unheated.

I see Jane!
So Junes blood seeped through the heated quilt and onto the under sheat before she pulled it off then ?
Now that really is remarkable!!! ???

Are you saying the quilt on the floor was'under'the blood stained sheet then Curiosity?
How on earth did June manage to grab hold of it then and rug it out from beneath the sheet then?
Come on guy's be reasonable!
Someone placed that quilt on the floor after June was dead!
One nil to Bubo! Be fair.

No! The quilt was on top of all the other bedding and, as Jane said, was pulled/grabbed at and slipped onto the floor as June struggled getting out of bed.

What? Why would they be saying that? The quilt (not heated) and the heated blanket are two separate things. The heated blanket is still on the bed, the quilt must have been on the top of the bed. It could simply have been removed because June was too warm. It's not a case of 'being fair', it's a case of common sense'.

Now I may be wrong here, but isn't that another quilt that is on the bed?
So are we saying there were TWO quilts on top of Nev/June that night? Again remarkable, that truly is a first for me!
Two quilts in summer!!!
Dont think I've ever witnessed that in winter even!
5 Tog Summer,  15 Tog Winter!

That is not all. The police have used distraction techniques in the photography. Firstly there is the piece of rifle but to distract from the pile of cushions. Then there is the bible on.by SC used to provide evidence that SC shot herself by the bed. Finally there is the children's toys on the main bed to distract from the bloodied stains on the bed which I have strongly argued do not show 'drag' stains but rather 'drip' stains especially on the pillow. There is a typical drag stain on the door.
