A combination of Bamber wanting to continue his jolly ups with Brett & thinking he was now safe. Together with Julie wanting out.

Obviously Julie was going to approach the police as she had told 5 people. I don't believe Bamber goading her speeded this up as she approached the police days later.

That is one way of looking at it of course from the pro guilt point of view.

The other side is to believe she was jilted by Bamber and angry.

Tend to believe that Julie would have confided in her mother very early on. I say this with the benefit of having sisters.

Yes I mean phoning up another women for sexual purposes and arranging a date  in the presence of your long term girlfriend who you have confessed to murdering your family to is really " playing it safe"

He might as well have dropped her off in his own car outside the police station by that logic

Bamber obviously felt he was safe. His jolly ups show he felt this from day one.

Why do you think he goaded Julie?

Obviously she would never make a solo attempt to frame an innocent man a month after the massacre. Perjuring herself so seriously.

The police would just tell her the evidence shows it was Sheila & charge her with wasting police time.

I don't believe she was upset anyway. The relationship had come to a natural end.

Bamber goading her didn't result in her going to the police. She had already left him and told 5 people.

However Bamber goading Julie resulted in her smashing a window.

Quite right to. He had put her through a lot since waking her up at 3am & 5am.

I agree with what you say Adam, the problem Julie was facing, once she told others, she lost Control, she basically handed Control to others and had to go to the Police.  No matter how good a friendship anyone has or had, something like this was never going to be kept quite,  she also put others in a bad situation.

If you read my posts Steve you will notice I dont blame Julie.I agree with Bubo that she had no choice but to cooperate with the police to save her skin. She probably had to sign a document never to talk about the case to the media or be jailed straight away. That is probably why she emigrated and hasn't been heard of since, due to a gagging order.
She did talk to the Media Snow?  It's a well known fact she talked to the News Of The World?  By all accounts her Solicitor was involved with the Contract, Gagging orders was normally issued by Courts, Police have probably used them before, but on an employment basis on settlement agreements?

We are never going to back down on our views.

You think Julie walked away on her own accord. I believe she was jilted by Bamber.

Why do you think he goaded Julie?

Because he was a shit boyfriend, and quite possibly a complete tosser.

However that doesn't make him a five times killer. Just a love rat.

Julie's reactions show she was hurt. Can't blame her in that regard.

Jeremy Bambers birthday today, he turns 63

Julie's reactions was because Bamber showed her a lack of respect.

Guilters can afford to say the break up was mutual - Bamber felt he was safe & preferred just him & Brett. Julie wanting to return to London.

Supporters have to say it was 100% Julie being jilted & so devastated she accused him of 5x murder.
