Mike drives through Tolleshunt D'arcy.

Bamber would have turned right off Maldon Road before getting to TD. To cycle the Brook House Farm (BHF) track.

This reduces the distance by 1661 metres/over 1 mile according to Wilkinson. It also means he is not cycling past multiple properties.

The BHF track is as good as Pages Lane. 

Once at the end of the BHF track he arrives on the B1023.  Pages Lane is 160 metres to the right.

Suspect these would just be the people that lived in Goldhanger & Maldon Road before Tolleshunt D'arcy.

Maximum time Bamber would spend away from WHF picking up & dropping off Julie would be 20 minutes. So could be done in his lunch or break time. In the unlikely event he was working when Julie was leaving.

Otherwise Julie would get a taxi or June or Nevill could give her a lift.
