I've never been a hardcore Bamber supporter. I'm independent.

Will always be on the fence.

Talking to friend about what she would do if she took a bag of 500k from outside a bank.

I would spend the day travelling around London on different trains, tubes and buses. As well as walk. Try to make a couple of clothes/bag  changes during it. Pay for things by cash.

This is so CCTV couldn't keep track of me.

Would then hide the money for several months.

She said she would go straight home!

People have different approaches during a crime.

London in 2024 is different to Goldhanger tollshunt Darcy in 1985.

Today if the crime had happened we wouldn't be having a ", who dunnit discussion " 39 years later.

Police have too much technology these days times have changed. Crimes are solved much easier

Referring to the level of risk people take. Before, during and after a crime.

Me cycling to/from WHF = travelling around London.

Worth the extra effort to get more chance of getting 500k.

Route 6978. The prosecution route.

You will have to go on Google Maps satellite to see the cycle path from Pages Lane to The Sea Wall.

You can enlarge Google Maps. You will see the cycle path is around the width of a car.

But appreciate you will always call it 'a very unfriendly track'.

There is no cycle path from the end of Pages Lane to the Sea Wall that I can see Adam?

Also the route looks like it goes right through a farm?

The properties are on Pages Lane. Not the cycle path. Already been discussed.

Looking at Google maps again, there is a left turn off The Sea Wall. Just prior to the prosecution turn off.

Following this footpath would take you past the properties on Pages Lane.

This footpath does not look as good as the prosecution cycle path.

At the end of the day, up to Bamber. He would know!

Non of these tracks are what most people would call a cycle track especially in the dark Adam, I have never seen anyone cycling along a public right of way in daylight let alone in total darkness.

As far as I can see there is no public right of way from the sea wall to the bottom of pages lane unless you go through yet another farm?

Never seen anyone cycle on a footpath. Wow. Guess June bought the bike for no reason.

The cycle path from Pages Lane to The Sea Wall is the width of a car. In my view that is wide enough to cycle.

If ILB can check both the prosecution cycle path, and the path directly before it.

With daylight photos.

Be interesting to know if the other path could be cycled.

If you look closely it's a route tractors take I think Adam? It would be deeply rutted etc. not suitable for cycles though ok if on foot.

Public rights of way are not cycle lanes, they are often ploughed over every year anyway.

I am hoping you can put Bambers hat on and propose a route that someone could cycle along in total darkness and not go near any properties?

Good point. Tractors are common on farms. Which is a reason there are pathways between fields and they are wide.

I don't believe a tractor being on the pathway would mean it can't be cycled.

As far as I can see the only public right of way would be via Lauriston and Wycke farms? the route you are suggesting is not on a complete public right of way so it's condition at any point in time could greatly vary?

If you don't want to be serious and just time waste please don't reply.
