I wouldn't notice if my neighbours left/arrived at any time. You just become accustomed and don't notice such things. Plus the neighbour wasn't asked until weeks later.

Bamber calls the idea ridiculous he along with RB says " over fields , not by them. And it is correct otherwise he would go through a neighbouring farm.
