The CT have Bamber turning left off The Sea Wall at the location I have mentioned.

I suspect the 0.4 mile footpath leading to Pages Lane is cycle friendly. As it leads from The Sea Wall to Pages Lane.

At present the only area I am not sure about is the 0.4 miles. From The Sea Wall to Pages Lane.

It does look cycle friendly. There are paths all the way to it.

Obviously The Sea Wall and Pages Lane are cycle friendly.

I have just tried Google Maps 3D.

Knew it wouldn't go down the 0.4 mile pathway to Pages Lane.

Thought it might go down Pages Lane to the beginning of the pathway. But it didn't.

As said because the pathway leads from The Sea Wall to Pages Lane, I will have to say it will be cycle friendly.

ILB will confirm upon his visit.

I have made Google Maps satellite as big as possible.

Where Pages Lane ends and merges into the pathway,  the size of the pathway remains the same - wide enough for a car.

The pathway does narrow a bit as it gets closer to The Sea Wall. In my estimation around 6 feet wide.

So it is pretty clear it will be cycle friendly. It is a lane/pathway that leads from somewhere to somewhere.

Time will tell.

However I still stand by the fact it is an unfeasible journey.

I will look on Google satellite later on and come to my own conclusions.

Will be back later, stripping the front bedroom for the rest of the afternoon.

Enjoy your Saturday

The Pages Lane entrance from Maldon Road is wide enough for a van, let alone a car. Following that end of Pages Lane to where the pathway starts, Pages Lane does not get any narrower.

There is then not really any differrence in wideness during the footpath section leading up to The Sea Wall.

What does change on Google Maps is the terrain. The terrain of Pages Lane would be suitable for cars. The terrain of the pathway would be suitable to walk and cycle. It is no longer a road, but a pathway to The Sea Wall.

Bamber would have no trouble cycling a flat pathway as wide as a van on footpath quality terrain for 0.4 miles. A few hundred yards from where he used to live & now worked.

What the end of Pages Lane may have, is a gate. Meaning no cars beyond this point. This is because The Sea Wall is not suitable for cars.

However the lane continues as a foot/cycle path. As The Sea Wall is suitable for walkers/cyclists.

So really not much difference between size and terrain between Pages Lane & beyond.

No. There is a pathway from The Sea Wall that leads to Pages Lane. It looks very wide and cycle friendly. As my previous posts on this page say.  It is 0.4 miles long.

Have you not looked at Google Maps before?

That lane leads into fields way before the sea wall he would have to go into fields and we have no idea of the incline or anything.

Please keep to the topic rather than try to divert.

Plesse give your opinion on the straight cycle/walk pathway from The Sea Wall to Pages Lane.

Google Maps shows it is as wide as Pages Lane.
