Can remember going to cold blow lane in the 80s hardy, scary scary place lol

The old ground.
Yes it had a reputation alright the Old Den.  I asked if they were still on the Isle Of Dogs, I didn’t know they had moved.

He gets on a bike. Cycles. Then gets off.

I did that myself today.

Were you on the way to murder your mother father sister and nephews at 2am?

Cycling in an area I don't know just relying on outside ambient light is another matter.

However Bamber had lived in the area for over 10 years!

I bet you have never walked or cycled along the nearest public right of way to your front door.

It's weird seeing Adam have Jeremy as his avatar. When I speak to Adam I feel like I am speaking to Jeremy himself.

I have been on several country walks. My parents are keen walkers & would drive me & my sister to the country for a walk & a picnic.

Obviously the footpaths were suitable for walking. Which is why we were walking on them. In the main they were suitable to cycle.

A bike is not wide, so does not need wide footpaths.

No one is denying a bike isn't wide enough.

I'm not entirely convinced with our findings. Bamber and RB saying that the crossing involved going over fields.

Until I go how can I argue with that ? Both men knew the locality and area better than any of us.

I which you would get your terminology correct Adam, but you do it deliberately to give the impression Bamber had a nice smooth footpath to cycle down.

By footpath I assume you mean a public right of way? and as I posted earlier I have never seen anyone cycling on one of these. As Jane posted earlier you often walk single file along these.

Well Wilkinson said -

Well defined.

Level.

Six feet wide (sea wall).

Occasional stiles.

Stiles easy to pass.

Path cycled 'with ease'.

Well maintained.

Clearly defined.

Easily negotiable.

Walked/cycled with ease.

----------

Unless ILB has returns with photos & a different experience, we all have to accept this.

Did he have to cross "stiles" these can be tricky even in daylight, in darkness and carrying a bike not so easy.

ILB's photos will help but remember it was 1985 not today.

He has a hidden agenda against Jeremy Bamber.

It's obvious we all know it.

Rather too conspicuous to be hidden, don't you think?

Not really.

Were you not talking about Adam's agenda being hidden?

Nah, he just has an interest in the case, nothing Adam or any of us say here, affects Jeremy's position one iota.
