Obviously if a bike had not arrived at his cottage just before the massacre, then he would have walked or driven.

In that case, I would favour walking. There may be a quick walking friendly route across fields which passed no properties.

He did not believe he had major time constraints.

Because a bike is silent and passes no properties.

The bike was fine for the job. It would not be tiring for him or take too long. The terrain was good & he was fit.
The car passed very few properties and i doubt anyone would be looking out their window, the car was better for the job, he would be less tired and the terrain was 10 times better in a car than the Sea Wall, and it would take half the time, and he was an lazy sod acording to some?

Past around 45 properties. Just takes one person.

Not worth the risk when there is a 100% safe route which had good flat terrain. Wouldn't be tiring for him.

Agree walking would be very tiring. Even if he had a good route which shortened the journey.

Agree Bamber was lazy. But no one would be lazy if there was over 500k for a nights work.

Has anyone claimed to have heard him return from the farm the previous evening after he'd finished work, and has anyone claimed to have heard him when he 'rushed' to his family's aid around 3.45am? If they didn't hear him on either of those occassions, why would they have heard him around midnight?

It's obvious he's gone via the car if gulity.

The prosecution used the cycle narrative to be creative.

Adam just supports it to be awkward.

People are different.

I would be 100% safe for 500k. Cycle The Sea Wall. If no Sea Wall or bike, would walk across fields.

ILB would be more reckless. That approach did not work for him before & he was caught.

I understand why the prosecution said he cycled The Sea Wall.

If they said he drove or walked, the defence would have a field day.

Cycling The Sea Wall with a bike which had just arrived at his cottage was bullet proof.

The defence could only say 'yes it's possible but there is no proof he did'.

The defence argument was - no one saw him.

That would not influence the jury. They would have been told how remote The Sea Wall was.

Didn't work for Bamber, Come September he will have been in jail 39 years.

Nobody is going to hear or see a car at that time.

Pissing around on a ladies bike over s darkened track and fields

It's laughable it's ludicrous

Imagine what Bamber would feel like if Julie had not come forward & Taff stayed on the case. But....

Someone saw him drive off/or arrive back.

Talk about kicking yourself.
