Why did she think Bamber was guilty? She as far as we know didn't inherit anything or did she?  She'd got to know all the family well and worked there quite a few years. She says Neville warned her that his life may be in danger from Jeremy. She's adamant that it was Jeremy and not Sheila. Is she still alive?

Having watched the repeat on Sky Mix of the 3 part Sky series I'm still 50-50. Don't know what to think. Everyone I know says he's as guilty as sin but suppose much of that is because he was found guilty and lost appeals. I think there was reasonable doubt and 2 jurors thought so. Before 1967, when the 10-2 verdict became acceptable, he'd have walked. I think it should be that a jury is unanimous still.

Your words will be music to many ears, here! Re the FS, she can't actually be credited with being a reliable witness. Running with the hare and chasing with the hounds comes to mind. First, JB was charming, and more polite to her than her own son, then suddenly, she was afraid of him. Of course, one doesn't rule out the other, does it? Neville shared many 'secrets' with her, but he's not here to say otherwise..........

Well, many people will think he's guilty because they only know he was convicted. However, there are many who started thinking he was innocent (or were on the fence), looked at the evidence and realised that it just doesn't hold water and to block the holes, people come up with the most ridiculous theories!

You say you think it should be a unanimous verdict but yet aren't sure if he's guilty? By that you would be happy for a five times killer to just walk free?

Why did she think Bamber was guilty?

In brief, she changed her mind when money started to be available during the making of TV programmes.

Jeremy often spoke of installing a computer and making Barbara Wilson redundant by her own admission. In fairness I don't know if it was because Jeremy thought her incompetent, or it was just a joke, or a laugh or whatever.

I do believe this is the reason amongst others her dislike of Jeremy ln one sense. Despite that she also stated she got along with him better than her own son.

At trial in 1986, Jeremy characterises their relationship as not overly close. Of course she was his father's secretary and so it was no more than a workplace relationship

We have to remember that BW was also an employee. And an employee of the farm. With Nevill Bamber deceased and  Jeremy Bamber being manded into custody charged on five times murder  She was working for Peter Eaton et al.

Very unlikely she would be pro Bamber in these circumstances!

Having said that she reported Eaton and his brother for fraud post trial.
