There is a video from SL from at least 2 years ago where she admits minor mistakes in some of the details in her book which she says will be corrected at the next reprint. I have had a quick scan of the post which details these errors. Yes there are discrepancies. However most seem to be of little consequence to the main issues.

This could be down to a faulty memory of CM whose life had been upended by Luke's arrest. In the end it is not the murder weapon and when it was found or handed in and by who is of no consequence.
This smacks of a counter campaign to undermine the efforts of his supporters who seem to be getting traction in proving his innocence and the realisation that the general public are becoming less convinced of his guilt
