Nothing. Is he in Lomax's book?
Yes,and in Cals.I dont think he is mentioned in Wilkes, but he may be.
Lomax says Smith heard shots just before midnight coming from the direction of WHF while walking his dog,he lived in Tollesbury Road, where exactly I dont know.
Cal says the true account is that Smith heard one shot between 9.30 and 10.05.coming from the direction of the village playing field,I presume in Tollesbury.
I dont know where either author got their info from, but as said,Cal claims she has the true account.
Seems strange that Smiths statement isn't available, whether the CT have seen it I dont know.Lomax discussed the issue with Bamber,so they may have seen a statement. But why the two different times,Cal 9.30-10.05 while Lomax just before 12.00.That is why I would like to see Smiths statement.
As for hearing the shots, that depends on a number of factors, the silencer would bring the decibels down from around 140 decibels to 115 and the subsonic ammo would bring the sound down further.
In optimum conditions a .22 rifle shot can be heard about two miles away,so who knows Adam?
As I say,we would need to know exactly what Smith told the police.Cant see why he would run to the police if he thought the shot/s came from the village playing field though.
