He seemed quite steady, reflective. He was convincing enough in the first instance for Colin to write to him in prison for answers. Well evidently he denied all knowledge pre-conviction. All I've heard him say since is he suspects the relatives planted it (though has not named names) and again today when in the audiotape he doubts Sheila returned it to the gun cupboard.

There was a letter I saw a long time ago now, where he makes reference to David.  I'm trying to think whether he was trying to be empathetic towards David, for his role in it.  It rings a bell anyway. Or he was leaving the door open for David in someway.

Any interview of a long term in incarcerated individual such as Jeremy Bamber will be artificial in whatever way you look at it.

He will still be 24 years of age and not progressed in the way an individual going through the normal realms of freedom life has.

He is also even if an innocent man has to put on a front. David James Smith says he found him " all to human and understanding "

No, and there's no safety valve in such people. It's why he killed five and men are more prone to suicide. Did Jeremy ever ask Nevill and June to sit down with him around the kitchen table and have a heart- to- heart? I doubt it.

I believe the relationship with sue ford was Jeremy trying to seek a mother figure for one. And close female companionship. Although of course at the same time it was a normal sexual relationship.

Of course we are all just all armchair psychologists. And as Jeremy is fighting a MOJ he will paint his early years and adolescence as bliss when we all know guilters and supporters, that it was anything but.

The same thing happened with King Charles, as he sought solace with Camilla from what he perceived as a distant mother, and a too-needy Diana. She was "a poppet", but he never loved her. The Queen Mother attempted to recompense, but the marriage was doomed to failure.
