As Roch says,where...AND when Zoso?
Washed, hid in farm outbuildings until he could wash them, binned them, not like he's hiding a TANK  or something, it's probably a jumper and trousers, he had a damned more chance of hiding and changing attire and washing than Sheila did.

Ah! That explains things Adam.

What do you think he did?

Lots of options.

If there was a 30 minute spin option in 85, the easiest thing is to wash when back at Goldhanger.

He was there for at least 36 minutes.

He would then just hang them up.

Then keep and wear them in future or dispose.

The clothes would be dry and bloodless by the time the police went to Goldhanger.

Not that the police would start checking his wardrobe anyway.

At WHF best to focus on the massacre and staging.

When back at Goldhanger he can focus on changing & washing clothes.

But he may have decided to do things differently. As said, lots of options.

So if he used WHF, where did he dry them?

Never heard of a washer/dryer, Roch? I really don't know why we're discussing this. What could possible be more normal that a washing machine doing its thing with dirty clothes? It's not even as if he was a suspect. I'm will to be that when he was such, no one remembered if the washing machine was on in his cottage.

Clothes don't come out of washing machines wringing wet. They come out damp.

So he could just hang them up & let them dry. Or use a dryer if he had time.

What do you think he did?

Lots of options.
If guilty,I think he would have hidden them ,maybe under floor boards at his cottage or somewhere else that no one would look, then wash them when it was safe to do so.

He couldn't leave them at WHF as it would be thoroughly searched, too dodgy, and he wouldn't have wasted time washing them at WHF either.
And as Roch said ,he couldn't hide them in the countryside for fear of dogs finding them, also,he knew he would be in the spotlight so very hard to get a chance to retrieve them.
No,he had to keep them near by and deal with them when he got the opportunity.

Floorboards. Wow.

Why do you think he would not wash them at Goldhanger. Then hang them up to dry?

He had time.

He could then keep or dispose.

I don't get this fear of dog's at all, it's not like there was thousands of wild [if any] dog's roaming Essex Countryside.  He could have had somewhere pre planned to dump them on his way home, at best, trousers and a shirt or jumper?

Wearing a wet suit underneath his clothes, means he could dump he massacre clothes on the way back.

Would need to be a deep part of the sea. He could attach a brick to the clothes. So they stay at the bottom.

Or put it in a deep hole.

So you reckon he'd have gone to the bother of lifting floorboards? I guess we all hope, for his sake, that he didn't have fitted carpets right the way through.

If anything he had too many options.

But would have made his decision beforehand and kept to it.
