How did Nevill end up positioned across the chairs?

The third and fourth head shot to Nevill were at the top back of his head.

So if he was placed on that chair stage managed. I don't get why the killer just didn't shoot four times in the same place.

By the looks of it they have shot twice from the side and gone to the back of Nevill ( near the kitchen door entry point) to inflict the further two head shots.

That looks like he was on his feet for at least of the two head shots.

You need to read the pathology reports.  The only shot with a trajectory upwards were those Sheila sustained.  Nevill was taller than Bamber and Sheila so if he was on his feet for at least two of the head shots sustained in the kitchen the assailant must have been standing on something.

Of course Nevill's height has everything to do with it.

No Yellow Pages would not have been deep enough to account for the height differential between Nevill and his assailant.

Height is only relevant if nevill is shot in the head in an upright position. I.e standing

Even then with the point .22, it only weighs between eight and ten pounds. Which makes it pretty versatile. ( obviously depending on your physical capacity of course. It would have been no problem for Jeremy, perhaps cumbersome for Shelia

It's quite safe to say that before the final four head shots he was probably almost beaten into submission as well as already being shot four times. Which would mean he would have been staggering, crouching or even floor bound.

In all probability these 4 wounds were inflicted after the victim had ceased to struggle because they have been fired in two groups on the same side of the head within a confined area thus indicating that the deceased had not moved substantially after the first wound was received.

All interpretations are open, it still doesn't stop as I mentioned him being placed in the position and being shot at a different angle.
