Auditors just want to bait people

Photography is not a crime I understand the laws. But neither is people's reactions to what they do.

If a guy with a camera turns up randomly to a workplace on a let's say a Tuesday afternoon. They are wanting the reaction. Primarily many do it for social media ( YouTube ) views to make money from it.

The more controversial the encounter the more views the more monetary and notourity gain for the auditor

I agree and make money,  but they don't have to take the bait.  Some are not even doing it in places that concerns Police.  A memo has been circulated by the MET Police they have a right to film in public and to basically leace them alone, if they left them alone the Auditor wouldn't have a story, but the ego just gets to certain officers,  how do you stop it, when the Police rely on Public surveylance and help to solve thier crimes anyway.

Black belt Barrister Sums it up Really Well............i don't agree with the Drone flying over the Station, although they are not breaking the Law.  I will try and find the one where  a Guy is arrested Illegally for Flying a Drone over the Staion, he wins a payout from the Police.

The one I saw was just a bloke sitting in his car or van and then nosy people coming up to him and questioning whether he was disabled, whether he had a badge / telling him he was blocking the space for disabled people. It was quite funny how he spoke to them.

Hi Roch, i will try and find it, it makes me howl with Laughter, they don't realise they are the star of the video.  Some people just cannot help themselves, iv'e just watched someone get arrested for calling someone a Muppet  4 officers came for him, arrested him and detained him in a cell for calling someone a Muppet,  the Duty seargant wouldn't entertain it and released him.  The real reason they wanted him, he was a man with a Camera.

I think people are naive with the law on filming.

Most videos begin with the auditor filming a premise. Either security or the owner comes out and speaks to the auditor on what their interest is in filming. And before you know it hell breaks loose

Having said that in defence of the general public If I wasn't sure about the law on filming itself and somebody came filming my premises I would probably respond with something like " you can't film here mate"
