Refraining from personal insults

(1/1)

Roch:
The moderation team have no problem with members crossing swords to some extent. It is unavoidable. As are prolonged grievances between two or more members. This is interwoven in to the history of the forum. Ideally members should refrain from using personal insults such as 'tit' or 'Hippo' both of which have been in use recently. This does not mean members cannot express a scathing opinion on the content of other members' posts. That would be censorship going to far. However, it is simply best to avoid the use of certain insulting labels. There is a fine line and people who post on forums do at times need a thick skin. Things can get annoying, heated, frustrating etc.
