The usual countries, and one I haven't covered before: https://youtu.be/Ssu_tSQQS7g

Why not go to Gaza?  I gather cheap plots of land are being sold currently in New York by a company (I am not joking).   You could get a bargain if you get in early.

I think I have posted previously the whole of Kent is underrated imo.  I have visited Deal.  As a day visit nothing not to like but no idea what it is like actually living there.

Well it won't be Charles Hawtrey's house full of old brass bedsteads, that's for sure.
I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and furballs.

There are numerous places where you could lead a simple bucolic life doing some charity work and attending a church.  I think you need to narrow it down.

I love Deal. Have been there numerous times. Kent is mostly wonderful -rather like the curate's egg- but there are parts best avoided. I've just come back from a weekend with my partner's son who lives in a small village near Tonbridge Wells. There appears to be a very strong community there with everybody lending support. There don't appear to be any problems with "......ists". The local vicar, who is great fun, likes to walk barefooted and can frequently be found with, at least, one hot and sore foot in my step son's kitchen sink!!

Quite hard to narrow it down, unless you rent in an area first, then buy. Obviously one wants a slower pace of life as one ages, but with a purpose in life. A little less stress would be welcome too.

But the likes of Deal get inundated with day trippers at the first sign of sun.  You could perhaps join a local protest movement to clamp down on tourism and shoot tourists with water pistols as they do in Barcelona and the Balearics.

This place always appealed to me

It has a railway station with direct access to London and the Kent coast.
