    There is an abundance of footage of Ukrainian/NATO equipment being destroyed before anyone sees a Russian, mostly in minefields and artillery traps. The numbers reflect the overwhelming firepower advantage that the Russians possess. Posting any of it is pointless noise in my opinion, Roch. It informs nothing of any wider strategic picture.
     David likes to post such irrelevant nonsense in threads where it has no connection to matter being discussed. He can indulge to his heart's content here instead of distracting and running interference elsewhere.

    The current counteroffensive is going disastrously. Footage everywhere of columns of Western supplied equipment destroyed. Posting this stuff without any wider context is just war porn. Nobody is going to win because a tank or artillery piece gets blown up in a random part of the frontline.
    Ukraine/NATO lack of preparedness for this kind of war is why they will lose. What more do you think they have to give to even move the Line of Contact? If you were to consider the stated objectives of both sides of this conflict-it would help you to understand the strategy currently playing out.

    Russia intend to de-militarise and de-Nazify Ukraine. De-Nazify is a euphemism for De-NATOfy. They amount to the same thing(Dry Russian humour, I think). Once these aims are achieved then the oblasts, currently under Ukraine regime control, will have referenda to decide their own future. I have stated this from the beginning. Odessa + others will vote to separate from Ukraine.
    Russia's objectives have no need to conquer any further territory. The legal limitations of the SMO currently prevent military action outside of Russia or the four oblasts that have voted.

    Ukraine/NATO objectives are simply unobtainable and in fact play into Russia's strategy of attrition. Ukraine/NATO intend to "liberate" the four oblasts and Crimea. As such they have to conquer land by penetrating Russia's echeloned and formidable defences. They have to do this with a 10 to 1 artillery disadvantage, little to no air defence and no air cover. NATO doctrine requires all of the above. Russia are happy to sit where they are and allow the Ukrainians and sheep dipped NATO "mercs" to attempt to breach their lines with zero success nor any prospect of success and demilitarise and de-Nazify themselves. Minefields, artillery traps and KA52 attack helicopters are decimating the counter offensive.

   David- You believe there was no evidence of civilian deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan caused by NATO aggression. You also believe that the US have hypersonic weapons coming on line anytime soon and lasers and rail guns on their super carriers.
    The predictions that I have made- the coming collapse of Empire, NATO/Ukraine defeat, ditching of the dollar, Ukraine becoming a rump state with no coastal access, NATO missiles being removed from territories added after 1991, US being removed from Syria/Iraq and the wider Middle East. All of that, I see no reason to modify any of it.
     
    If there is no abundance of destroyed Ukrainian equipment then where has the initial inventory they started with + the old Soviet stocks from the now NATO countries + all the tanks/vehicles etc. sent by NATO countries from Western stocks? Where could it all be? How could they possibly require more?
     If you want to find video of Ukrainian and NATO equipment being blown up it is easy enough to find. I don't post videos of war porn and have no interest in doing so. They are often linked to in comment sections of blogs. I ignore most, as I do yours.
