Jane, I think you should concentrate on kneeling practice. For when Jeremy is released.

I'd be hugely surprised if you find it laid out as definitively as you demand.
Why Jane? Simple question to which there must be documentation to surely?
Surely Cock didn't take a wallet with five hundred pounds in it into his possesion without noting down who found it and where?
It makes a BIG difference where it was found surely!

Well,I am looking at a number of different issues here Jane, mainly which room the wallet was found. As far as Bamber knowing the wallet was missing because it was not in the pocket of his dads clothing this is not strictly true.Remember JB went upstairs himself to look for the wallet,so he probably checked Nevills bedside cabinet or any other possible place the wallet could possibly be as well as his clothing.

Maybe it was common practice to place his wallet in a certain place at night, why wouldn't it be? You have to take your wallet out of your pocket in order to put your clothes in the washing basket anyway.
Basically, the main bedroom is the only logical place that Nevill would have keep his wallet in the house and only in certain places surely,eg,his bedside cabinet. No one was with him to know where he looked, were they?

BUT,lets concentrate on WHERE the wallet WAS actually found before we conclude too much shall we Jane?

Ask Bamber

Ask Bamber
I dont understand Zoso, why ask Bamber about the wallet? You said RWB found it,so I will ask again where is this documentation? I am damned if I can find it.

Knew where what was Zoso?

Anyway,I cant find anything about RWB finding the wallet when Cock was present at the WHF in any of the books or in the statements,am I blind? Where is all the info about the wallet appart from JB looking for it then calling the police?

Given the jewellery he'd have taken into his possession, I imagine there to have items of greater value. I still don't understand why you think it makes a difference, big or otherwise, where the wallet was found.

It's certainly too far from either Maldon, Witham, or Tiptree to send someone out for lunches. That's by the by. I think you're using avoidance tactics ;)

Chequers isn't 😊

There was a chippy nearby where Jeremy and the farmworkers used to frequent he told me himself

But that's by the by.

Plenty of opportunity for Jeremy to see the contents of the wallet. And Jane your coming across as hostile when I'm actually seeing and agreeing with Zosos point of view !

I told you where it was found. Personally, I care not where it was because that's not the issue that concerned me.

They certainly frequented the Chequers at night, after work. A few still do. I have no idea where the chippy would have been.

I'm not certain why -in fact, I've NO idea why- you're reading me as being hostile.

If the wallet was found in Nevills clothing Jane that would probably be the clothing that he was wearing that day, right? If Nevill decided to sleep downstairs on the night of the murder he would have taken off his clothes containing the wallet while downstairs too.Logical?

So if RWB found the wallet in Nevills trousers somewhere down stairs this would go some way to proving that Nevill was not shot upstairs in the bedroom, that is what I am trying to get at Jane and that is why I want to know where the wallet was found.

Surely RWB would have worked this out too, where ever Nevills clothes were found along with the wallet was where Nevill layed his head to rest on the night of the murders, VERY STRONG EVIDENCE in my mind anyway.

Now if the relatives were so clever why didn't they inform the police that Nevills clothing and wallet were found in the main bedroom proving he slept there on the night of the murders? Why not pass this info on to the police?

So hopefully you can understand why I think it is very important where RWB found Nevills wallet Jane.
This is how my brain works anyway.

Why are RWB and AE rooting through nevills personal items anyway?

Seems a bit intrusive

Well,as far as I can make out ILB,Bamber gave the relatives permission to enter the White House with executer Basil Cock to remove  and safeguard important documents and valuables, although most of their time was taken up finding silencers and banging windows shut.

He did give permission officially yes.

Did the relatives put pressure on the 24 year old Jeremy though?

In the sense of the insistence they get access and Jeremy just giving way ?
