According to local Essex news, the IOPC are not taking any further action.  They have just upheld the complaint of JB.

What does that mean? Just that it's been noted?

Looks like it. Essex Police should not be able to investigate Essex Police in cases like this. But now that they have done, it looks like the IOPC will not intervene, other than to say, should have been referred to us.

Corruption is everywhere and I will be the first to admit, there is corruption in the Police not just Essex police but all over the world, brotherhood and all that, protecting each other! However just because corruption and MOJ sadly does happen it does not mean it happened to Jeremy Bumber. When you look at a case follow the evidence and not go by the notion of corrupt police hence corrupt investigation and you then start manufacturing and twisting  evidence,  to suit your own mindset.

How do you believe Bamber travelled to/from WHF?

A real mixture from people -

Walked

Drove.

Cycled.

----------

Some say he drove. Others say he couldn't go within 50 yards of a property.

The prosecution case is he cycled via the sea wall. Which I agree with.

I came back from work early the other night it was 3ish in the morning.

In a dark lane I saw somebody looking very dubious, Bamber could never assumed he had not be spotted.

That's not a bad point. He may have done a dummy run.

Maybe but again more chance of someone reporting seeing someone out on a cycle.

He was prepared to take the risk.

My torches are on charge for tonight Adam, I wonder if I will see anyone in the early hours.

I always make a mental note if I do spot someone just in case a few weeks latter I read something bad happened. Where i am working tonight though I don't need to worry about setting dogs off.

Just noticed this single remark on the Steeple Times article about this story.

Lujan May 20, 2023 At 4:12 pm
I used to work with the scientists who conducted the original tests on the evidence for this case. One of them was not trustworthy, I would not be surprised if she fabricated evidence.
