Nevill calling Bamber's AM would be an impossibility in the first place.

Then you add that he had another adult upstairs available!

If Bamber did get on better with Sheila than June, that would still be outweighed by -

June being nearer.

Nevill got on better with June.

---------

However Bambers words on Sheila when meeting the police -

Do lally.
Loony.
Nutter
Psychotic depressive.
Should be locked up.
I don't like her.
She doesn't like me.
Having treatment.

Rob & Snow66! need to man up.

No good saying the CT hide from this, therefore I will.

Sherlock is not online so I can't say the same.
Sorry Adam,I didn't know a reply from me was needed.
Anyway, what point are we starting from here, what scenario are you talking about, what stage are we at?
Is everyone alive,where are they?
Nevill and Sheila arguing in the kitchen,June and the twins asleep in bed upstairs? Is this the starting point where Nevill is supposed to somehow get to June and ask for her help?

If so,what is Nevill supposed to do? Tell Sheila to wait in the kitchen until he goes to ask June for advice?

Run from Sheila and go upstairs to ask June for help and advice?

I am not quite sure what you want me to say Adam!
You tell me how Nevill requests Junes help while he is arguing with Sheila in the kitchen Adam, its your scenario after all.

It's not a scenario.

It is 31 facts why Nevill would get June to assist him instead of Bamber.

Obviously these need to be addressed as they badly incriminate Bamber.

From what I have read, Sheila got on better with June than she did with Bamber.

Sheila was being financially supported by & staying at June's house for goodness sake. June was her mother & they were both religious.

Nevill also got on better with June than Bamber.

So zero reason why Nevill would start phoning Bamber's AM & stop monitoring a woman holding a rifle,  instead of using June.

June was Nevill's first option.

June was the nearest available adult.

Natural reaction for Nevill to wake June. Rather than ring Bamber's AM at 3.10am.

June was 30 yards away.

June was awake or likely to wake from Sheila's outburst anyway.

June was a light sleeper. So likely to wake anyway.

It was June's house which gives her some authotity.

June was Sheila's mother. Sheila more likely to respect her than Bamber.

June was Sheila's mother. Will have more experience of calming down Sheila than Bamber.

June was financially supporting Sheila's life in London. Sheila likely to be less hostile.

June had invited Sheila to WHF. Sheila likely to be grateful & less hostile.

No evidence Bamber got on better with Sheila than June did.

June was as strong as Sheila.

June could protect the twins when awake.

Waking June would prevent her getting shot 5 times in bed.

Nevill would not have to repeatedly ring Bamber's AM at 3.10am.

Nevill would not have to wait hours for Bamber to perhaps turn up.

June was already in a house where Sheila was apparently having a psychotic outburst. No point also trying to get Bamber inside.

June assisting would mean the police or Bamber would not have to be called.

June would not call the police. Unless Nevill told her to. Bamber said Nevill liked to keep things private. Ringing Bamber risked Bamber calling the police.

Nevill ringing Bamber's AM while June continues sleeping means Sheila is not being monitored. Better to wake June.

Ringing Bamber's AM while June sleeps puts the twins in danger.

June will not be upset if Nevill wakes her for assistance. Her daughter needed calming down.

Waking June is putting her in less danger than her continuing to sleep.

Nothing to lose in getting June to assist. If Nevill is having difficultly himself.

If June & Nevill still could not calm down Sheila, at least June was up & awake. Rather than a sitting duck.

Bamber said himself him & Sheila did not like each other. Nevill would know this.

Bamber has said since conviction he did not understand Sheila's illness. Nevill would know this.

June was available instantly.

If June was only of minimal help, that is better than the zero help Bamber gave.

No one has disputed any of these facts.

The 2 counters have been from Rob & Sherlock -

Sheila did not get on with June.

Men in 1985 were more of the dominant sex.

----------

These were dismissed in two threads -

'Did Nevill get on better with June than Bamber'

'Evidence please, that Sheila got on better with Bamber than with June'.
