Fraught with difficulties?
He was cycling on empty cycle paths at 2am for 10-15 minutes. Not swimming the Amazon.
But appreciate you believe a sleeping dog would hear a silent bike.
If he actually passed any properties which had dogs.
Adam - The “cycle paths” being referred to are via the sea wall! This is not the route that YOU keep telling us Jeremy went. The sea wall route was the only route that avoided any roads and would have taken around 35 minutes.
The alternative is via the Brook House farm track and public roads - he would have needed to cycle THROUGH Goldhangar village to get back to Head Street past many houses. He would also have needed to cycle through a neighbouring farmyard!
You are very insistent that the journey took 10-15 mins, the evidence says you are wrong! You must follow the evidence remember - it’s in Wilkinsons statement!
Now you need to decide which route he took and explain how he overcame the difficulties - either the longer time than you allowed in your scenario or having to cycle through a farmyard and along a public B road (The Maldon Road) and through the village.
If you can’t answer these satisfactorily then we’ll have to dismiss your theory and you’ll have to become a supporter!
