An expert testified that although the killings looked professional, skill was not required, only determination.

Rigor mortis was beginning to wear off when Dr. Claydon examined the bodies and this was an indicator that death had not occurred in the late afternoon or evening.

There was a white shirt laid out on the bed, as if Harry Tooze had intended to go out dressed smartly.

No murder weapon or cartridges attributable to the murder were ever found. However ten years on a discovery was made in a disused quarry in Bridgend, which may or may not have links to the murder. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/2726529.stm#:~:text=Police%20discovered%20a%20holdall%20containing,at%20their%20remote%20farm%20house.

Harry, who weighed 13 stone, was shot just inside the cow shed door and was placed in a trough in the shed and covered with hay bales and other articles including heavy tarpaulin sheets.

Megan, who weighed 10.5 stone, was shot at the other side of the house near the corner of the kitchen extension. Her body was placed in the cow shed and covered with items including a heavy carpet.

There was expert evidence that the killer was likely to have been liberally spattered with blood and body tissue. No forensic link of this kind connected the appellant with the killing.

It is motorway all the way from Orpington to Llanharry, apart from the last six or seven miles. Jones claimed that his windscreen was leaking, which necessitated a stop near the Severn Bridge. The Prosecution case was that there was at least an hour's missing time, when Jones could have moved the weapon and soiled clothing from a temporary to a more permanent hiding place.

Why did Jonathan Jones stop a second time on the journey from Orpington to Llanharry? Why did he remain a further twenty minutes there after being requested by Cheryl to hurry to the farmhouse?

Why did Jonathan Jones, upon being told Cheryl's parents were dead, not ask questions as to the manner of their death if he were to impart that information to Cheryl in a subsequent telephone call?

Why were Harry and Megan Tooze killed at all? If it was a thrill kill there would be no need to spend time concealing the bodies. Money and jewellery were found untouched in the property.

The concealing of the bodies in the cowshed suggested the perpetrator had knowledge of the layout of the farmhouse. The appellant had such knowledge. He also needed time to get back to Orpington to establish an alibi for himself before the bodies were discovered.

The above features some similarities with the Bamber case:

Sorry, but there's already a thread on this here: https://jeremybamberforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,11363.0.html

There is a new video out, however. https://youtu.be/4jU1vIQLGJY
