It is rather disturbing that the people who are so convinced of Luke's Guilt seem to believe only Dr Lean supports his plight. Have they not seen the BBC Frontline Scotland Documentary aired 2 years after the conviction. All credible experts within their fields including the Forensic examiner who examined Jodi he states it is very unlikely Luke committed the crime. He also states Jodi had defensive wounds indicating she fought for her life yet Luke the 14 year old child had not one mark on him. Dr Lean has dedicated most of her career to this and she has done an amazing job bringing the huge flaws and discrepancies of this case to the publics attention. We also have the Channel 5 documentary outlining the flaws, yes it was a program dedicated to Luke's side so it is deemed bias but we had already heard via the bias media pre trial and during trial of the prosecution side so some would say that was a tad bias esp when we add the Media slander towards the Mitchell family. Its time people ask themselves some truthful questions did this 14 year old receive a fair trial.? Are we satisfied that the Police Investigation was executed to a standard fitting for a murder investigation. Why are we missing evidence that would remove doubt eg Mobile site analysis, retrieval of deleted texts from both Luke and Jodi/mother, Lack of any Forensic evidence of Luke committing a murder or clean up after a murder. Why was 2 separate witnesses (one who knew Jodi) who both described a stocky man behind Jodi why did they drop these witnesses and go for ABryson who not only described 2 people that could not be more different to Luke and Jodi. This lady description of clothing and hair and height do not support Jodi clothes hair colour and certainly did not describe a 5 ft 4 14 year old male she stated the male was medium height , average build and in his early 20's in my book that is a man not a 5ft 4 teenager. To support the star witnesses account as being wrong this witness clearly stated the boy in court was not the man she seen that day. Further supported with Appeal stating this could be argued that this was incorrect. People have to stop regurgitating the same old nonsense and deal with real undisputable evidence , the type of evidence that is non disputable. I await the day when the Independent Enquiry will get underway and all of this can be put out in front of a Independent Panel for assessment esp DNA evidence we are all aware of the advancements in this area so we must test the evidence in this case to bring a more conclusive result via Independent facility. Importantly an enquiry will look at the Police investigation, ask yourself why no production companies , no books , no credible experts are looking to document how well the Lothian and Borders police carried out one of the biggest investigation in Scotland. Where are all the experts , or Production companies wanting to document the excellent job by the police on this murder case. Their is a reason no experts or books have been written about this investigation supporting Guilt and why only book, production companies , experts support miscarriage , think about it. Stop supporting a flawed investigation and support an enquiry into this investigation if for nothing else we should want this for Jodi and her memory and to allow this beautiful young girl the respect and dignity to rest in peace.
