People who are paranoid have a heightened fear of danger so I don't think she would just lie down unless sedated. How the shot to Sheila was done is a mystery to me if it was not suicide? It was this that got me interested in the case watching the WHF series.
She was told to lie down and whilst doing so the first shot hit her under the chin. She involuntarily touched that area with fingers, then the second report rang out and killed her instantly. No mystery involved.
She wasn't "all there" as most members here know. She might just have taken Jeremy's hand those last few confusing seconds, led across the landing like a lamb to the slaughter to fulfil the dreams of an unscrupulous conman, who later that morning thought only of a Porsche motor car as he chuckled behind closed doors.
Exactly ‘she might’ you admit you don’t know and you believe it’s ok for Jeremy to be incarcerated for his whole life although there is no evidence available except for the testimony of the wicked prolific liar and thief, bunny boiler Mugford
She might have taken Jeremy's hand or she might have been led at gunpoint. Talking about Freudian slips mentioned on another thread we are told one Christmas Sheila came into Jeremy's bedroom in the dead of night and woke him up, whereupon they proceeded downstairs to open their presents.
Steve, a lot of water went under the bridge since Sheila's day as a child at Christmas.
Maybe lookout but was the seed planted at that early stage?
Why is mentioning this a Freudian slip Steve? sounds quite charming to me.
