I'm one of many million who'll not be dictated to on what to eat etc. Good food has been my mainstay over the years and I've been fortunate to have the best when it comes to keeping up my health and strength.
I don't do junk food or takeaways as besides being expensive there's little in the way of nutrients.
As humans, we need proteins to renew cells in our bodies both physically and mentally and stay well for as long as we possibly can.
In order to compensate my love for " luxury " food I don't buy up to date furnishings/ clothes etc. to keep up with the Jones's/ times because over the years I've hung on to what I've got.
My biggest grouse in all of this has been the felling of trees and rainforests which has created the disasters that we now have. A man-made disturbance of nature and the earth because of the rank greed of supply and demand of various materials instead of utilising what's already available. As it is, we're a throwaway country in every way and it's disgusting to see. Commodities shouldn't be as easy to obtain as they are then we wouldn't be looking for replacements of anything, just sticking to what we have.
Concrete jungles everywhere so no escape from flooding as no soakaways were thought about. Bad planning. However big or small everyone should create a garden with trees and shrubs where possible.
Gases/ pollutants would be absorbed by trees/plants if everyone was made to buy a tree.
