This thread has taken a quite unpleasant turn.  I have been tempted to remove posts, but it is difficult without removing others where there are responses and others intervening. If I remove some posts and not others there will inevitably be a negative reaction which may make things worse. Please exercise some restraint.  Robust challenge to arguments is fine.  Try to avoid personal attacks.

I will leave the thread at present but if this continues or worsens I will have to intervene and prune the thread.

It looked to me as if you were implying that I lied.  Several people have implied this, but I have yet to see specifics.

I am told I have overreacted.  But have I?  Did I start the accusations of lying?

It was a personal attack and you have now just attacked me again.  I have noticed that you can be quite abusive sometimes, but you have a way of deflecting it when challenged and throwing it back at the victim.

This started with you referring to me in an insulting way, which I noticed.  The post was in reply to Real Justice, but your comment was in relation to me.

I then asked you to explain where I had lied.  Note: I didn't insult or abuse you in any way.  I just asked you a question.  At that point, you could have explained that you were only joking and no offence was intended.

Instead, you reply by insulting me, and now insult me again.

Sorry Lookout, but like several people on this thread, you are out of order.

If you're talking about my reply to Gringo above, I just explained why he was wrong in his facts about what has happened.  To the casual observer, it probably looks like I am overreacting, but this started with Jane and I did try to correct her, and she persisted.  Otherwise I believe you are right when you say.

You certainly gave cause by KNOWINGLY calling yourself QC when it had to have been obvious that most people would think of Queen's Counsel, however much you later protested and tried to make us believe it was personal. I would say that presenting yourself in such a way, then coming up with a lame excuse for so doing when challenged, unless you have shares in that particular brand of sherry, was lying.

Have you overreacted? My opinion is that there's some form of overreaction in most of your posts. On some occasions you appear to be out of control, having digs at everyone who disagrees with you and playing one side off against the other. In short, I inclined to think you're a very angry man.

You have lied about me repeatedly.  I have said, at least twice, that I have no qualifications and I am not a lawyer.  'QC' relates to me personally, not to any professional title. 

This means that, at the very least, you are dangerously stupid, if not outright dishonest and toxic.  I think it is both.

You have also invented a fantasy world for yourself in which you have some sort of connection to people involved in the case, when in fact you don't.  You lied and stated that you knew somebody who knew the defence psychiatrist, when in fact you don't.

You have lied to blacken a man in prison, just for your own amusement.  Who needs to go for a lie down?  Me or you?

It is not an overreaction in those circumstances to, quite simply, call you a liar.  That is what you are.  I'm simply naming the beast.  There is nothing childish about that.

But you are right about one thing - I am angry!  It is righteous anger.

Evening everybody. I haven’t posted for some time due to various commitments but have been following from a far. Just reading through this thread, seems a little disappointing that Jeremy Bamber seems to have been relegated to about 4th or 5th priority behind playground infighting!

When I get chance, would be interested to post up on causal affects of crime and looking into Social Harm outcomes and Zemiology as advocated by Hillyard, Pemberton et al and the relation they could have to the JB case.
