By 8.10am, the operation inside the farmhouse is declared to be over. Five dead, two bodies downstairs, with three further bodies found upstairs - at this time, the following senior police officers keave the forward control in a nearby outbtilding (1) PI 'Ivor' Montgomery, (2) DCI 'George' Harris, and (3) DCS 'Terry' Gibbons. Yet, they didn't bargain for one of the two bodies having gone AWOL from the region of the kitchen, a state of panic set in, and amid all the turmoil DCI Harris was requested to contact ACC 'Peter' Simpson, to update him about relocating Shiela somewhere else inside the house, the police were obviously concerned because of the number of victims she was believed to have killed, and the fact that there were numerous weapons and ammunitions strewn about in different rooms of the farmhouse. It must have been clear to everyone by that stage, that additional lives were at risk and in the balance, therefore, it was with more than a touch of intrepidation that 'Harris' somewhat urgently picked up the handset of the kitchen telephone...

Looked at through the lens of this astonishing, incompetent mistake, many of the countless puzzling aspects of this case begin to make sense. This could explain, for example, why some at EP might have felt compelled to throw a shroud of secrecy over the case with an, otherwise inexplicable, PII gagging order. It could also explain how officers involved might subsequently have found themselves reluctantly drawn into a tangled and ever encircling web of concealment. +1

I really cannot understand why some people are so sceptical regarding the contents of these logs.It is always being said  by these sceptics regarding Jeremys claims of innocence that "surely everyone cant be in on the cover up and be lying". Do these same sceptics also believe that EPs incompetance in handling the case also extended to making grave and serious errors in their logging of events that morning? The sceptics surely cant have it both ways!

The logs would seem to be in order, it is interesting that the reference to "bodies" was overwritten with the " and female" being tippexed and then scored out on this particular log.

Starting to get to grips with the software.  Picking up something new every few hours.  Might need some confirmation from somebody like Mike or Sarah Hannover re some of the text content for the captions.  Or I might just plunder the official site because it is updated constantly.  I'm going off what I've learned from this site also but have to keep within parameters of official defence line, i think   ;)

By the time ACC Simpson picked up the phone in response to DCI 'George' Harris's call, there was only now four persons known to be dead - the other who had previously been declared as being dead, was now at large, lurking somewhere inside the farmhouse, with murder in mind...

There is no evidence for this Mike, it is pure supposition on your part?

Police Sergeant Adams, had been Commander of the armed operation, at WHF, from 5am until precisely 8.15am, and then he was  relieved of his duties, by PI Montgomery, once he got into the kitchen...

Fact.  And if Mike shows us evidence of his theory re ACC Harris / Panic ensuing etc... then that will go in also.  If he cannot provide evidence of this theory, then it wont go in.

What is going to be the storyline?

Although I don't agree with all the content of this video, I find it compulsive viewing.

Maybe it is the background music that adds something?

The moving/fading pictures are engrossing too.

Hope I have given you some food for thought?
