Julie Mugford the main prosecution witness was guilty of numerous crimes, 13 separate cheque frauds, robbery, and drug dealing and also making a deal with a national newspaper before trial that if she could convince a jury her ex boyfriend was guilty of five murders she would receive £25,000

That's a somewhat unfortunate name Jackie, without the apostrophe.

Interestingly, in her statement of 8th August 1985, Ann Eaton said that her parents owned Carbonells farm at the time of the murders. This was not true. She retracted that in 1991 and explained it away by saying that her grandmother was family and therefore she thought of her father as owning it.

I know, I wonder if she’s still around.  I’m guessing her son was the same age as Jeremy

I bet it was a real wrench to be forced to leave a place with such happy memories
It’s interesting how she said about Jeremy being shy.  Not really how he is portrayed most of the time

There's this video as well.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHAnLJOIw7k

Some interesting stuff about the running of the farm after the arrest and conviction. Jeremy held 20% of N&J Bamber in his own right, but ended up having to pay for it to be dissolved later on. I don't know if he made any money out of it before it was dissolved. I wonder what the relatives who inherited the rest had to pay for the dissolution.

Peter Eaton was apparently never investigated, despite the accusations of Barbara Wilson.

Yes, a bit like Jeremy telling police that Sheila had recently indulged in target practice.

An innocent mistake maybe? She was clearly aware at the time that her parents did not own it.
