CALs fine with it according to the Sun.

“Nothing I saw made me doubt his guilt. There really wasn’t anything, from my personal view point.
“I know there are plenty of other people who disagree. And that’s fine, as long as you can back up your reasons with material evidence, not just what his campaign team have said.”

👍

PS: I have read about 70% of the book. I skipped everything till the shootings/investigation began.

The first part of the book is well written and sets an eerie atmosphere regarding the history of the house. Overall, her book is well written, it's just that it seems as if it was written by one of the detectives' wives.

So that’s  30% you haven’t read then?

Yes. 100% minus 70% leaves us with 30%. Is there any other maths that I can help you with?

Exactly. Nothing wrong with that. I just find it nonessential.

At least Lomax had visited JB face to face, regularly ! How can you write about someone who you've never met and call it fact ??

What a breath of fresh air when the author Kimberley Chambers appeared on BBC1 this morning.
A fantastic crime writer and a down-to-earth person who made no excuses about not doing any research before writing her books. She's an excellent author !
Unlike CAL who thought/thinks she knew/ knows JB without ever having seen him yet was quite happy to prattle on with her book and called it a " true " story.

Yes, a coward like you would aim at someone else. Play nicely with your pea shooter, yu wouldn't be allowed near anything else.

Lots of history books on the shelves Lookout about folk from history. All that stuff about the likes of Henry VIII might as well be banished to the bins. In fact anything written about history. Lets bin it - no one was there and no one met those involved.  ::)

Oh dear, so many sour grapes. Lets have more people not doing any research - it will be like reading the forum!  ;D ;D ;D ;D

To be fair, though, Lookout -and I didn't catch the whole piece- it sounded as if she was talking about an incident she'd had little prior knowledge of. Something concerning Government involvement and people being crushed whilst trying to get to an underground train? She could NOT have written such a book WITHOUT doing some research first.

Calling someone a coward from behind a computer screen? Very courageous Caroline.
