"If he admits to his crimes, he might get parole but he will come out as a child killer.”

That’s not true though is it ? It was in the past , but I thought  now if if he said he was guilty he still won’t get parole ?

Life without the possibility of parole. The clue is literally in the sentence.

It’s an absolute disgrace.
She needs to come up with some answers

We will start with where are the twisted letters

Next we will ask her what day she actually spoke to Jeremy

Caroline is in contact with her so she should be able to fill us in
I am still not sure where I stand on CAL.

I used to think it was either sloppy research or a lack of critical thinking that led her to her conclusions. But the one sided nature of the book, the supple distortions of the evidence in the book. Plus the discrepancies over the letters. Has me thinking there could be a malicious element to it also. But if she "feels" the man is guilty of five murders. She wont really think she is doing anything wrong.  :-\
It is pretty self evident that CAL's intent all along was to write the book she did. It was never an impartial investigation to find the truth and David is being way too kind in calling the distortions of the evidence, subtle. They are anything but subtle and along with the inconsistent and untrue claims since then, it should be clear to everyone that CAL was acting in bad faith all along.
There are insights into her character for those who care to look. Her attempted sleights against JB reveal much of her own character.
Jackie helpfully highlighted one of the most revealing, "The author claimed Bamber would not reply to questions about certain subjects, particularly his adoptive sister's Sheila's personal life..."

Is CAL aware that the obvious inferences to make here are:
1) Amongst other unstated subjects, CAL was asking questions about Sheila's personal life.
2) Most reasonable people think it reflects poorly on CAL rather than Jeremy that he wouldn't answer questions about Sheila's personal life.
3) Most reasonable and literate people also realise the low level manipulation that CAL is attempting here. Who for one moment believes that had Jeremy answered the unstated personal questions that CAL
asked about Sheila, then CAL would instead be claiming that Bamber had attempted to smear Sheila. She is comically transparent and I find it difficult to believe that someone so obviously insincere is given an iota of credibility.

Given her vague and ambiguous claims, CAL should be lent credibility when, and only when she adds the relevant details to her claims.

1) What specific questions about Sheila's personal life were you asking?
2) For what reason were you asking?
3) What are the other subjects that you felt the need to ask about that Jeremy refuses to discuss?
4) Can you list all the questions that JB refused to answer/discuss?

When we know these details then we would be able to make a fully informed judgement as to whether JB was being somehow evasive/secretive or perhaps CAL's questions revealed her hand as the murder porn writer that she is.
The lack of detail, as is usual with CAL, means we can make a pretty well educated guess.

I would say the distortions are subtle. That's to say hard to notice at first glace. Or impossible for the average reader of the book to work out.

There is a lot missing from the book that 99% of consumers wont know exists in the first place.

Thank you for those post Gringo and David. It’s clear from interviews that Carol Anne Lee is prepared to go to any lengths to sell a book. As if it isn’t bad enough for evidence to still be witheld from Jeremy’s Solicitors they have to put up with this women putting out fake news. I hope someone sued her.
Julie Mugford the main prosecution witness was guilty of numerous crimes, 13 separate cheque frauds, robbery, and drug dealing and also making a deal with a national newspaper before trial that if she could convince a jury her ex boyfriend was guilty of five murders she would receive £25,000

Its been brought to my attention that CAL has laid out all these letters on the floor and taken a photo. I guess somebody has been busy with the photocopier today..... Only kidding.  :)

On a serious note. There are around 130 to 140 pages of letters I can see. To the best of my visual ability I can make out that 10 of these letters are the beginning/1st page of a letter with JBs address.

It seems at least 10 CAL letters exist now.

Over to you Gringo.

So the CT win the prize, as their figure is closer to 10 than CAL's.

There looks to be 9 or 10 envelopes displayed and approx 140 pages or so. This is more or less as I predicted. The vague claims of dozens, a pile, hundreds would turn out to be dozens of pages, probably between 100 and 200 pages. The 5 or 6 claimed by the CT is near enough to suggest oversight rather than deliberately misleading. CAL's claims suggest deliberate dissembling rather than misunderstanding.
CAL's use of ambiguous language is intended to mislead.

I never thought of counting the envelopes. I can see that amount also. The claims by the CT all depends on where or who they got the figure from. If its JBs recollection from 7 years ago and considering all the other mail he writes. Its not a bad guess.

Hi Gringo,
I have lots of 8 page plus letters from JB. So as Roch pointed out the CT was near enough

For her to go to those lengths she must be worried about some kind of legal action

I am still waiting to see proof of the ‘twisted letters’ or the date of any phone calls when she spoke to Jeremy

No wonder there have been so many mistakes in the drama if she advised them.

I hope her career is well and truly over Caroline

I suspect her version of " twisted letters " are replies from JB to her requests for copies of the murder scenes as it appears that she's into that sort of thing so it's not JB who's twisted !!
You get people like that who are ready to talk about others but are like that themselves.

A reasonable point. The fact that it is 7 years since the last letter and he only has recollections to rely on, it is a good guess.
CAL didn't need to guess because she has the letters. Hundreds of letters is not just a bad guess, it is bad faith.

I am absolutely furious how anyone can be so deceptive

She has never replied to my questions on Instagram because obviously she can’t
I expect the next interview will be her making up more stories from when she spoke to JB on the phone.
She needs to remember any calls JB makes are recorded so straightaway she will get caught out
