What is anyone's reasoning for cremation ? This could apply to anyone not only JB. I don't like it anyway.
Im just curious why or if he went against his Mothers wishes Lookout? Was he not thinking straight or was he thinking ahead?
He possibly thought about the financial side at the time as there is a difference in cremation and burial, price-wise. It would have been a big layout for all of them. In burials there's the plot to purchase then the burial costs on top of that. I don't expect JB knew an awful lot about that sort of thing at the age he was then.
Thanks Lookout, maybe Steve could give us a better answer, I’m not all that religious but I naturally assumed June would want burial because of her Christian beliefs?
Of course she would. He was covering himself in case forensics could have discovered anything incriminating should an exhumation have been demanded by the relatives.
Thanks Steve, if I’m right June would have insisted on a burial with being an avid Christian?
I personally don't think it matters but to June it would have been imperative.
Very callous of him Steve
It just shows how little he knew of his parents or Sheila. I'm surprised June hadn't left instructions in her will as to her method of burial, nor that Pamela felt fit to intervene on the matter.
