I would blame Sheila for shooting its owner.  But since she was mentally ill, I will let her off. 👍
Dont give the cheerleaders something else to suggest, anyone but their dear Jezza especially now it’s been proved Anne didn’t have any input 😂😂😂

Well at least she spared the dog though 👍

Its a good indicator as to who was pulling the trigger.  👍

My Grandad threatened to shoot my aunts dog.
Is this the same Grandad that let you fire all them guns?

The same genius who leaves the smoking gun at the scene in a cupboard and then tells his girlfriend before dumping her? I don't think so. 👍

The dog wasn't such an east target - nor was he about to inherit anything from it.

He'd been telling Julie of his intentions to kill the family LONG before the murders. For those who think murderers don't tell others - look no further than Ian Bradey - he carried out his final murder in front of Hindley's brother in law. That's how they got caught.

He let me fire once, and he was holding my arms and finger. I was about 6-7 years old atm.

He did however let me play with his axe and chop wood. Good memories.

As far as I know it was Junes dog and nobody wanted it. So what else can you do?

I have seen the vets (Robert McTaggart Hill) statement, I don't have a copy of the actual document but I have a copy of the text.

The vet reported the following.

"On my arrival Mr Jeremy Bamber told me that he wished me to put down the Shih Tzu dog that had belonged to Mrs Bamber, his mother. He said that the dog was very attached to his mother, and since her death, he thought that the dog should not go to another home." . He also said that the dog had turned a bit nasty since the killings at WHF and it was a bit snappy. I also spoke with Mr Jeremy Bamber about finding a new home for another dog from WHF, this was a black Labrador gun dog. He seemed concerned that the dog should be found another home on a farm but if that didn’t work out that dog should also be put down.

Turned a bit nasty SINCE the murders - this was only the day after!

Interestingly enough. Ronald DeFeo Jr shot and killed his entire family. Before the shootings, he took the family dog out the house and chained it in the garden. The prosecution used this as evidence of pre-meditation and thus contradicted his insanity defence.

The dog was later adopted by a family friend. 👍

I think it had when she'd also stated that she hadn't wanted it----yet had a farm ?
