I find it both strange as well as suspicious that these different individuals appeared at that time. Besides Brett Collins, there was a " long-lost " relative of the family from South Africa and also the  sudden visit from AP who nobody had seen for nigh on a year. Some peculiar goings on.

Are you suggesting one of those were responsible?

I just said it was suspicious. Never mentioned about them being responsible.

Well, if you see it as something other than coincidentally innocent, what's your reasoning. I can't imagine that they'd all gathered, like secret agents, to dispose of the family, but who knows.................

Because the case hadn't been conducted in a proper manner you're left with all kinds of thoughts that it literally could have been anyone at all.

Hopefully, though, one rules out the too fantastical to be real, from the possible.

Yes, I’m a bit like that Lookout, the case was so badly investigated its opened up lots of avenue’s to go down, who can blame anyone for having mixed feelings about the case.

I agree with you RJ. Anyone with any sense can see  the anomalies. There's more holes in it than a colander.

Because he'd appeared suddenly on the scene.

Because he'd appeared suddenly on the scene.

And would therefore have no axe to grind or have a motive.

So far as I understand he was a complete stranger before JB met him in NZ, then he was invited to the UK.

Very interestingly, going through Douglas Adams statement, (raid team) in his notes he makes reference to about the complexion of Sheila and June both appearing Wax like and shiny, then he said another officer pointed out the fact Sheila’s feet appeared to be clean.  Wax like and shiny, what does that tell us?

NGB, at the debrief on the morning of the murders with PS Adams, he touched on the fact he was concerned over the two shots to Sheila,  he was told  (cannot make name out) that it could be down to the fact the trigger of the weapon being pulled twice in rapid succession, obviously it couldn’t have happened like that could it?

The rifle had a hair trigger.  It takes very little pressure on it to fire.  It is possible that the first shot caused Sheila to flinch and the trigger was pulled for a second time.  However I think that is unlikely here since if that happened I would expect the two bullet entry wounds to be in virtually the same place, which they were not.  I therefore think there were two completely separate shots with the rifle repositioned between the first and the second.

It is possible to fire shots from a semi automatic rifle in very rapid succession.  Three or four rounds in a single second is easy and ten or eleven rounds could easily be fired in under three seconds.  It actually sounds similar to a sub machine gun being fired, although obviously a lot quieter.
