How were they supposed to know if the information was withheld? When was the last time you asked a family member if they been in a psych ward lately? If the question is asked about the family's health and receives a positive response, one normally accepts it.
I would know if a family member had been sectioned-----we speak to one another, especially in matters concerning health.
