Prob best not to speculate further. I always assume defeat, is the most likely outcome via official channels, in this case. Nevertheless, if Boyce's findings are ever published in future, the facts may be undeniable in the longer term.

I've never counted my chickens through life Roch. There's always been an element of doubt whatever a situation. That way you're never overly disappointed. It's one of life's learning curves.

Hopefully Essex police release the aledged withheld documents & Jeremy can prove his innocence.

Thought they were going to make another appeal based on Nevill's call to Chelmsford police station.
'Only I know what really happened that night'.

I take it no appeal has gone to the CCRC yet Lookout?  Publicity will be good for Bamber, hopefully it might counter the negative publicity coming from the new series?  Why they need to go to the papers, just get on with it, takes ages to examine and get cases to court.

So far as I know, the appeal hasn't reached the CCRC as yet. I doubt we'll hear any further updates for the time being but to notify the broadsheets where they're at in the case can't be a bad thing to keep it in the public arena.
Mark Newby might fast-track this case to court. He appears to be a go-ahead type. Pity it's so late in the year as JB could have been out for Christmas----this year !

I think he has a good profile Lookout and some good background in these cases.
