I thought he allegedly told Julie he hired a hitman to do it.

He did. Julie, to the best of my knowledge, didn't tell police he did. She told them he said he did.

This is the same Julie who embraced a " self confessed " child killer hours later at goldhanger....
..yes who chuckled at his handiwork several hours previously.

The macdonald scenario does nothing to add credibility to julie. I get bored of retieriating. She still had direct knowledge of Bambers involvement. From her first instance of being in contact with police, she was " putting on a front" and I don't believe it was because she " was a young naive confused girl" she was an intelligent well rounded women. She had committed cheque fraud. She wasn't as sheltered as she would like to make out.

And we on this side get bored of telling the Bamberettes that if this is true it makes Jeremy guilty as hell.

She wanted to keep Jeremy at all costs - at the time. Not much else seemed to matter to her. She spent time with Colin shortly after the murders and let him think that Sheila had done it. The poor man must have felt terrible about it.

At least that's an intelligent comment.

if that's the case then why wasn't Julie not singing like a canary from the start. One can imagine her shock and bewilderment if it came completely out of the blue. But it is not the case is it by her OWN ACCOUNT Jeremy Bamber had been telling her his intentions for over a year....

i have always believed kaldin that Colin deep down believes Jeremy to be innocent. I think the two shared a mutual respect

She just didn't seem at all shocked. Nobody said that she looked shocked or ill and panicky at Jeremy's house. It's just not normal behaviour for someone who allegedly knew her boyfriend had had his family killed.

Everyone associated with the family seem a bit odd to me. David Boutflour appeared to laugh his way through an interview about the murders, Ann went to live in the house where it all happened, and Robert Boutflour had a lot of strange thoughts in his writings.

RB hated Jeremy with a passion pre August 85

Dear me! SUCH a short time you've been with us, yet here you are posting like a pro of many years standing!!! Such intimate knowledge of characters. Tell us, how familiar with her family are you to know how sheltered or otherwise she may have been, and how well did you know HER to form an opinion that she implied she'd been sheltered?
