Title: David McGreavy: should he ever be released?
Post by: Steve_uk on December 04, 2018, 06:04:PM
We are told today that this murderer of three young children in 1973 is set to be released back into the community. For a short time in 2006 he was living in a bail hostel in Liverpool, where he was free to walk the streets until a newspaper story forced his reincarceration. The motive for the murders remains unclear, though to be considered eligible for release after 45 years he must have convinced the Parole Board that he no longer presents a serious risk to the public. However one has to wonder just what thoughts pass through his head on a daily basis and whether it is right that he would be free to travel anywhere incognito with such heinous crimes defiling his past. https://youtu.be/XVB0KRUbsdU

This guy should never get out. He has spent most of his life in prison, his psychologist said that McGreavy had "improved self-control" and had learned to "remain calm in stressful situations". Of course he has while he's in a controlled environment! Lets hope if he does get out, some other family don't end up with their lives in tatters because old urges resurface!
